Look, I’m no gym bunny but I try to keep my shit togetheby hitting those dens of self-torture faithfully three times a week. But I have to say that reading mags like Men’s Fitness gets to be more discouraging than encouraging. Most of the guys they highlight in their stories or portray in their ads are super young, unencumbered, professional body builders, athletes, models or actors whose primary claim to fame is their bodies. OK, I get that, but for us mere mortals, show me more regular on-the-street guys, 35, married with kids with a high stress job who still can find the discipline to stay in shape,
Guys I can connect with because they’re real.
