You wonder why our institutions are fucked up and behind the times and then complain people don’t love them anymore? The current Pope says he’s resigning next week  – NEXT WEEK – and the Vatican politicos are deliberating  WHEN to hold their grand conclave of Cardinals to vote for a new Pope.  Supposedly Church law says election of a new pope “is due” 15 to 20 days after a pope dies or resigns. But Jesus! They know he’s leaving – they know WHEN he’s leaving – just put the plan in motion, get all those tired, shriveled asses into Rome and DO IT ALREADY!
